When are practices and games?
Saturday practices are from 10:00am to 1:00pm every week throughout the season. Sunday practices are from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm up until the games begin. There is an 8 game season beginning in late September. Games are on Sundays and are either 12:00 pm or 1:30 pm starts. Schedules will be handed out. The season ends on the weekend before Thanksgiving.

How are the teams divided?
There will be 3 divisions. The "VARSITY" Division is for boys 7 and 8 yrs.old. The "COLLEGIATE" Division is for boys 9 and 10 yrs.old. The "PRO" Division is for boys 11 and 12 yrs. old. Each division has 4 teams that play each other during the season. Teams are drafted prior to the first practice and usually have about 17-22 players each.

Are there any weight restrictions?
There is a maximum weight limit of 135 lbs. for ALL divisions. Within the VARSITY division, players over 75 lbs. can only play line positions. In the COLLEGIATE division, players over 95 lbs. must play on the line. Within the PRO division, players over 105 lbs. can only play line positions. There is an official weigh in when equipment is issued at the start of the season.

Is it full contact and is it safe?
Yes, it is full contact, but there are many, many rules in ALL divisions for safety reasons. There are NO punt or kickoff returns. The Stallions provide top line football equipment for maximum protection and the players are all taught how to play safely.

Can my son play on a specific team?
There are NO guaruntees that players will be together AT ANY LEVEL. All requests will be noted on the draft lists, but in an effort to balance both talent and weight, they may not be met. Brothers will be kept together if requested.

Will there be facilities at the games?
Yes, we request that the restrooms are open on Sundays. We also run the concession stand, with the usual assortment of refreshments available along with Stallions shirts, hats, etc!!!!!

Do I need to provide any equipment?
All you need to bring are: cleets (non metal), supporter/cup (To ALL practices and games!), mouthpiece (available for $1 at the weigh in).

Will my son play even if he's just a beginner?
YES! The Stallions pride themselves in giving EVERY boy the opportunity to play in EVERY game. We are not about winning. We are about giving every boy who shows up and works at it, the opportunity to play!

Does football conflict with soccer or baseball?
Yes. There will inevitably be conflicts when boys try to play football and another sport. The players will learn how to play football on Saturdays, progressing from week to week and it is important to DO YOUR BEST to try and make every practice. Missing practices or games could affect playing time.

Can my son play Middle School football as well?
Yes, but understand that it is a major commitment to do so. The Middle School usually practices 4-5 nights a week and plays a game per week. Along with the Stallion's weekends, be prepared for football, 7 days a week for 3 months!
